The Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program regulates the storage of carbon dioxide in underground geologic reservoirs within the state. Operators of such facilities are required to receive coverage under a UIC permit. The purpose of this notification is to inform the public that the UIC Class VI Program will hold an informational meeting and hearing for three (3) proposed permits (Permit # 2022-242, Permit # 2022-243, and Permit # 2022-244) for Frontier Carbon Solutions, LLC., 909 Lake Carolyn Parkway, Suite 650, Irving, TX 75039. The proposed permits are for Class VI UIC wells at geologic sequestration sites that will be located in Sweetwater and Lincoln Counties (NE NE Qrt of Section 23, SW SW Qrt of Section 26, and SW NW Qrt of Section 15, respectively, Township 19 North, Range 112 West).
